Hard Times... and Wrecks

My friend Ben and I went out riding today. He was shooting with his camera.
This is what happened.

A while

A few things have changed.
I was sworn into the Navy on April 16th.
There's a future for me now.
Other things have happened, but that's the major one.
I've drank 5 cups of coffee today, and I'm still tired.

My friend Gavin and I are training for The RAIN Ride
It's 160 mile spanning across the state of Indiana.
Training for this is the hardest thing I've ever done.
I have no idea how I was seriously planning to ride to Argentina.
It's been great though.
We did a 66.6 mile ride the other day.
The harder the tasks are that I accomplish, the more I feel like
I'm being forged into an actual human being.

Here's some music.

My favorite line from this song is
"I have no memory of who I once was,
and I don't remember your name."

Here's another

Everything in my life is changing so much. It's like a tornado in my head blowing around everything that I have known my entire life. However the calm, the eye of the storm is that I know who I am. Everything getting tossed about is the stuff that doesn't matter.
