Different Strokes

I'd say two days ago it happened
I was standing at a little get together
Then people started getting angry really quick
That's always stressful,
I got up from my chair after things subsided
Walked to the doorway of the kitchen
Stumbled
slipped
blackout
I came back on the floor with a hole bit through my lip.
They said I almost landed on the poor cat sitting there.
I don't remember.
Everyone thought it was a joke I was playing.
The rest of that night, even before that hilarity happened,
I only have snippets of memory.
I can't off the top of my head remember events pretty much since then.
It's a struggle just to remember people I've talked to since.
